Whatsapp and Instagram Rebranded By Facebook

It was announced earlier on Techfliz that WhatsApp and Instagram which are facebook own instant messaging apps has planed to rebrand both Whatsapp and Instagram so users will know who owns the social platforms.

Now the latest update that has been rolled out has the features on both chat apps, users can now see “WhatsApp from Facebook” and "Instagram from Facebook" when they go to settings.

Facebook management believed that many people using the platforms are not aware that WhatsApp and Instagram are owned by Facebook. The two apps were born outside of Facebook and the two apps have very different corporate cultures and have thrived, in part, by having their own identities with consumers. You can read how facebook acquired WhatsApp here. Founders of the photo-sharing app and the messaging service left Facebook in 2018.
