Alert: Critical Flaws Discovered ON VLC Media Player

I never saw this coming, this is should be one of the bad news Pc and smartphone users will get this year. According to record, about 3 billion smart devices have VLC media player installed, and now, a bad flaw has been discovered that makes it vulnerable to attack.

You should be in panic if you are one of the people using VLC media player on their PC and smartphones because if care is not taking your files and data are in a very huge problem. the vulnerability is more dangerous than you think according to what a German cybersecurity agency, CERT-Bund reported.

If the developer of the software/app succeeded in executing their plan, it will be bad news to many people using their product. The success granted by users of VLC media player could grant access to users’ data, allowing attackers to modify their files. The vulnerability is a critically high level 4 which “A remote, anonymous attacker can exploit a vulnerability in VLC to execute arbitrary code, create a denial of service state, disclose information, or manipulate files.”

VLC media player v3.0.7.1 is the culprit. However, VLC parent company is developing a fix but no one knows when it will be completed. Your best fix is to switch to an alternative media player in order to avoid stories that touch.
