See How Much It Will Cost To Fast Charge The New iPhones

Apple has just brought wireless charging and fast charging to the iPhone brands but you can not have it when you purchase any of the new smartphones that were been launched by the company recently.

Apple attached 5W charger in the new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X retail box which is the same charger they have been bundling for ages. In order to have fast charged you need to buy a separate charger and cable which they won't be cheap, either.

Apple just tested the new iPhones with the USB-C 29W charger it supplies with the 12-inch Macbook as well as the 61W and 87W power adapters. The 29W charger costs around €59/£49/$49 which is equivalent to NGN 17,300 in Nigeria. Then you'd need a USB-C to Lightning cable, which goes for €29/£25/$25 which is equivalent to 8,800 in Nigeria.

You could go for a third party combination, which is generally a bit cheaper but still expensive. Finally, a 29W charger is much bigger than the standard Apple charger (and most Quick Charge-capable USB-C chargers).

But if you already have the charger from your Macbook or an iPad Pro then you're just 1 cable away from having Fast Charge on your new iPhone.
