Get N5000 Airtime On Updating Your MTN SIM Registration

MTN subscribers will be worried about the new development of renewing their Sim registration details as they will need to go through a fresh registration of their Subscribers Identification Module (SIM) cards.

From the information gotten, MTN requires their subscribers to put down the information they had released during previous SIM registration exercises, including their biometrics. Airtel has done theirs already a few months back. Globacom and 9Mobile are been expected to give the same directive any moment from now.

Any MTN subscribers that do not go to update their SIMs before or on the ending of August may see their SIM cards blocked. MTN has sent messages to millions of its subscribers, requesting them to go and updates their SIM card registrations.

“Y’ello! Kindly visit any MTN store with a valid government-approved ID. Your SIM details need to be updated before August 19th. Dial *123*7*1# for the nearest store.”

The interesting part of it is that you will be completed when you register your MTN SIM Card. The telecommunications firm, which recently got CBN license to float financial service in the country, is giving out N5,000 Airtime after completion of the exercise.

From my observation, the process is very fast, but some subscribers are bitterly complaining about how long they are going to be updating their SIM cards, after having done the same process three to four times in the past?

While on the other hand, MTN claims that it was a directive from NCC and it must be adhered to. Both those that received the message and those that have not can proceed to go register their SIM in any MTN venture or office near you so ti be on the safer side
