MacBook Pro with Touch Bar

MacBook Pro with Touch Bar

Apple is changing its traditional laptop lines, dramatically reshaping and merging the favorite options for both heavy-duty "pro" users and everyday customers. Before MacBook Pro was mainly focused on people who do serious work like professional video editing or design. New MacBook Pro is now being stretched to suit a much larger audience. However, brand new is not always the best. There is a wide selection of Apple laptops on, the best marketplace for a dream purchase.
And now, let’s see what the new MacBook Pro has to offer.

Design is stunning as usual; it became much thinner and lighter than usual Pro, even by the cost of ditching some favorite ports that took up too much space on either sides. Apple upgraded processor and featured the Touch Bar and Touch ID. New MacBook Pro has also received a completely new version of keyboard and huge touchpad. Overall external design hasn’t changed that much.

The Retina display became 67% brighter demonstrating strikingly high definition, purest and vivid colors. This MacBook Pro 15.4-inch screen has a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels and is gorgeous to look at. According to the sRGB gamut standard, the Retina displays have the lowest color deviation values. And you see colors on display as they are.

The new MacBook Pros received 4 new USB-C ports instead of traditional SD card, USB and standard video connectors. All new ports support Thunderbolt 3 and are quite versatile and extremely fast. All of them can be used for video output, data transfer and charging. Yes, the genius MagSafe power connector is also gone.
Keyboard and touchpad

And we have a winner here. The keyboard is exceptional. The super flat keys became slightly larger and the distance between them is lesser. Typing on this keyboard does not feel like hitting the keys but more like pressing, they are fast and responsive. Working on it is a pleasure. The touchpad is huge. It handles every swipe, gesture and tap as it supposed to do. The touchpad is driven by the Force Touch technology and it is pressure-sensitive, that can trigger different things depending on how hard you press.
Touch Bar and Touch ID

A strip-like OLED touchscreen runs along the top of the keyboard, where the function keys used to sit. And it is called the Touch Bar. The set of buttons is by default and varies depending on which application you are currently working with. For instance, when Safari is open, the Touch Bar allows you to switch between tabs and open new ones, in Pages - change the font and color of letters, in iTunes - manage the order of track playback, in YouTube - rewind time, or scroll through Photos.
The Touch Bar is a promising and interesting solution, but for the time being it does not bring any noticeable convenience to the work with the laptop. Maybe, later something good will come out of it. But the Touch ID is definitely useful. The fingerprint sensor is located to the right of the touchpad and works the same way as on smartphones.

The MacBook Pro is equipped with 4-core processor Intel Core i7 sixth generation, SSD-drive of 256GB/512GB and 16GB of RAM. Battery can last up to 9 hours of heavy browsing, playing an endless loop of music and leaving Wi-Fi on to collect Facebook messages, emails, tweets and so on.
